The second in a series of pop culture vehicles in places local to me. Included are cars and people from The Love Bug, Big Trouble in Little China, Bullitt, the Munsters, Ghostbusters, The Absent-Minded Professor, Speed Racer, Knight Rider, The Green Hornet, the Girl from U.N.C.L.E. , and the A-Team. I even have Marilyn Monroe and Bettie Page as a waitress and as a carhop (although so small you probably won't be able to pick them out. Another carhop is Pat Priest as Marilyn Munster next to the Munster's Koach. The other two carhops are made up.
I consider myself primarily an illustrator. I never quite fit in with others, so I grew up isolated and found much of my comfort in movies, comic books, music, and books. My artistic influences include fantasy illustrators from the "Brandywine" school of Howard Pyle to the best comic book artists of today. I get my inspiration from such widely diverse sources as the absurd, music, classic movies, myth, pin-up, fantasy literature, and my Catholic sensibilities.
