Artist's Description

Okay, every once in awhile I get in a state of mind where I am looking for the next thing to paint and I want something for an art competition and I just can't think of a single creative thing. So, in this case, after fretting about it for awhile, I decided to just do a little piece about 8 x 10 inches to clear my head.
Several years ago, I saw Caitlin Keats on an ad for Nationwide Insurance where her little dog pulls the plug on her computer. Some people know her from a couple of humorous and clever ads for Oil of Olay (The Lie Detector is available to view on YouTube) and some people will recognize her for filling roles on NCIS: Los Angeles, The Forgotten, the Mentalist, The Single Guy, or Murder in Small Town X and yet others will remember seeing her as a wedding guest in Kill Bill2, or indie films like Women In Trouble or Somewhere. About Bryan Bustard

Bryan Bustard

I consider myself primarily an illustrator. I never quite fit in with others, so I grew up isolated and found much of my comfort in movies, comic books, music, and books. My artistic influences include fantasy illustrators from the "Brandywine" school of Howard Pyle to the best comic book artists of today. I get my inspiration from such widely diverse sources as the absurd, music, classic movies, myth, pin-up, fantasy literature, and my Catholic sensibilities. For a number of my original pieces, feel free to purchase some more modestly priced ones at my Etsy page. I may be adding more as time goes on. https://www.etsy.com/shop/bryanbartist?ref=hdr_shop_menu More than willing to do commissions, I am adept at portraiture of...
