Description

This painting was done 30 years ago in 1981. While I was in college, the family cat which I insisted we HAD to have passed away. All through "Cali's" life, my mom had complained about how much trouble she was but my mom was there when she died and was actually quite attached to her. She was 14 years old when she died and my mom actually asked me to paint her. 30 years later, there is finally ANOTHER Cali. This painting is actually MOSTLY in acrylic ... only Cali is done in oil. But if you ask me to paint in oil now, I wouldn't even know how to do it.
